The news about this years round of tenure applications has arrived and Alice Pawley, the founder of Research in Feminist Engineering was promoted to Associate Professor! Additionally, two other Assistant Professors were promoted to Associate Professors in Engineering Education at Purdue University: Monica Cardella and Johannes Strobel! Introducing Engineering to Tibetan Children

RIFE member Marisol Mercado Santiago recently returned from her trip to India where she taught an engineering course to Tibetan children, ranging from 6th to 12th grade. Marisol designed the course based on the children’s culture and circumstances living as exiles in India. For more on this exciting work, click here!

Kacey co-developed the new Diversity in Engineering (DinE) Bibliography

DinE is an online, searchable bibliography of articles and conference papers related to diversity in engineering published between 2005 and 2010. It is hosted by the International Network for Engineering Studies (INES). Kacey wins Best Paper Award at Australasian Association For Engineering Education
